Cross Country Team competes at State A Meet

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Cross Country Team competed in the State A Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron.

Ryder Graff set the pace for the Redmen finishing in 29th place in a time of 17:27.80. Brett Hanson came in 53rd in a time of 17:57.92, Noah Estwick ran the race in 18:57.47 to come in 83rd, Everett Groos came in 126th in a time of 21:24.09, Landon Wegener ran the race in 22:09.53 to come in 128th, and Derrick Flute came in 129th in a time of 23:31.10.

Sisseton scores a victory over Tiospa Zina

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team scored a 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-10) victory over the Tiospa Zina Wambdi on Friday, Oct. 24, at Tiospa Zina Tribal School. No other stats were available at press time.

Sisseton will compete in the Region 1A Tournament Tuesday, Nov. 4, against Webster at Roncalli High School in Aberdeen.

Sisseton falls to Great Plains Lutheran

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team fell to the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers 0-3 (15-25, 16-25 and 16-25) on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Watertown. No other stats were available at press time.

Sisseton will compete in the Region 1A Tournament against Webster on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Roncalli High School in Aberdeen.

Sisseton goes 1-3 at Milbank Volleyball Tourney

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team went 1-3 at the Milbank Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Redmen End Season Strong with 26–12 Victory Over Roncalli Cavaliers

SISSETON, S.D. Under the Friday night lights the Sisseton Redmen closed out their 2025 regular season in commanding fashion with a 26–12 win over the Roncalli Cavaliers. It was a night defined by hard running, swarming defense, and a highlight-reel interception that sealed the victory and capped off the Redmen’s 6-2 season on a high note.

Sisseton Volleyball Team falls to Clark/Willow Lake

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team went on the road to take on the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones on Thursday, Oct. 16. The Redmen lost to the Cyclones 0-3 (10-25, 6-25, and 20-25).

The Redmen will travel the short distance to Agency Village on Friday, Oct. 24, to take on the Tiospa Zina Wambdi.

Sisseton falls to Waverly/South Shore

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team traveled to Waverly to take on the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes on Tuesday, Oct. 14, with the Redmen falling to the Coyotes 1-3 (25-15, 13-25, 25-27, and 17-25).

The Redmen will face off against the Tiospa Zina Wambdi on Friday, Oct. 24, at Tiospa Zina Tribal School.

Hamlin downs Sisseton

The Hamlin Chargers traveled to Sisseton and took down the Redmen 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, and 25-1) in a Northeast Conference matchup on Thursday, Oct. 9.

Sisseton golfers compete at State A Tourney

Two Sisseton Redmen golfers competed in the State A Golf Tournament held in Vermillion on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 6-7.

Luke Nielsen tied for 28th place for the Redmen, shooting a 164 (84-80) in the two day tournament. Carter Stickland took 88th place shooting a 201 (103-98) for the two day event.

Hayden Heig of St. Thomas More was the State A champion golfer shooting a 138 (69-69). Dakota Valley claimed the honor of State A Champion Team.

Sisseton competes at NEC Cross Country Meet in Webster
