Sisseton Girls Wrestling Team takes 4th at Region 1 Tourney

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Wrestling Team took fourth place in Region 1 on Thursday, Feb. 19, at DeSmet.

Sisseton had four girls qualify for the State Tourna-ment to be held in Sioux Falls Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-28. The top four placers in each weight class advance to State.

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team cruised to a 73-46 win over the Florence/Henry Falcons on Thursday, Feb. 19, in Florence.

Clark/Willow Lake defeats Sisseton Boys

The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones traveled to Sisseton and defeated the Sisseton Redmen 56-29 in a Northeast Conference matchup on Friday, Feb. 6.

Derrick Flute led the Redmen with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. Carter Stickland hit for 9 points with 3 three-pointers, and grabbed 1 rebound. Milbank takes down Sisseton Boys

The Milbank Bulldogs came to Sisseton on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to take on the Sisseton Redmen in a Northeast Conference clash, with Milbank taking down Sisseton 67-43.

Milbank jumped out to a 25-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as they cruised to the victory.

Sisseton Boys lose a close one to Webster Area

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team lost a close one on Monday, Feb. 9, to the Webster Area Bearcats 48-59 in Webster.

The game was tied at halftime at 23 apiece, but the Bearcats turned up the defense in the second half and brought home the victory.

Sisseton Girls wrestlers compete in Yankton Invite

Sisseton wrestlers compete in Redfield Triangular

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Wrestling Team traveled to Redfield to compete in the Redfield Triangular on Friday, Feb. 6, against Redfield and Parkston.

In the Redfield match, Sisseton defeated Redfield 34-33. Bringing home victories were Kayden Tchida, Evan Folk, Blake Steiner, Rory Current, Holden Hawkins and Malachi Anderson.
