The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team will move on to the SoDak 16 with the 52-44 victory over the Groton Area Tigers on Thursday, Feb. 27, in Groton.

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team moved on to the semi-finals in Region 1A with a 62-35 victory over the Britton/Hecla Braves on Tuesday, Feb. 25 in Groton.

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team downed the Sargent County Bulldogs 65-27 at the NDSCS Bonanza in Wahpeton, ND on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Roberts County/Northeast SD February gathering in Arizona

On a cloudy, cooler (but still nice), Friday, Feb. 14, morning in the Southeast Valley of Arizona, the Roberts County friends and family 'snowbird' group met at the Golden Corral in Gilbert, AZ. A mid-morning gathering for a Valentine buffet brunch was enjoyed. It was a great turnout with around 36 people from the midwest attending. The group sang 'Happy Birthday' to Doris Nelson for her upcoming 100th Birthday on the 23rd of February.

Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team victorious over Tiospa Zina Wambd

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team hosted the Tiospa Zina Wambdi on Friday, Feb. 14, with Sisseton getting the victory 67-50. 

Sisseton got out to a 13-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and held a 30-29 at halftime. The Redmen took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring Tiospa Zina 22-9 to stretch the lead to 52-38 at the end of the third quarter and held on to win 67-50. Sisseton Wrestlers go 4-0 at McCook Central Duals

The Sisseton Redmen Wrestlers went 4-0 at the McCook Central/Montrose Round Robin duals on Friday, Feb. 14, winning over Lennox 46-9, Warner/Northwestern 60-6, Marion/Freeman 49-11, and McCook Central/Montrose 51-21. The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team fell to the Florence/Henry Falcons 47-61 on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team fell to the Deuel Cardinals 57-69 on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Clear Lake. 

Sisseton was led by Derrick Flute’s and Josh Donnell’s 14 points apiece. Flute added 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals to go along with his 14 points, and Donnell added 1 rebound and 1 steal to go along with his 14 points. Sisseton Girls close out regular season at home with win over Florence/Henry

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team closed out the regular season with 63-37 win over the Florence/Henry Falcons on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.
