Sisseton hosts Legion Relays on May 1

The Sisseton American Legion hosted the Legion Relays on Friday, May 1, with eleven teams participating.
Leading the way for the Redmen Boys were Holden Hawkins, who placed first place in the 400 Meter Dash. Ryder Graff, who placed first in the 800 Meter Run, and Noah Estwick, who took first in the 3200 Meter Run. The 4x200 Meter Relay Team also took first place. Team members were LJ Crooks, Holden Hawkins, Brett Hansen and Carson Fisher. Hanson took second in the 800 Meter Run, Derrick Flute took second in the Shot Put, Bremer DeSpiegler took third in the 400 Meter Run, Justin Muehler took fourth in the Javelin, and Carter Stickland took fourth in the Pole Vault.
For the Sisseton Girls, Elliot Hortness took first in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Nikki Hoeger took second in the 100 Meter Dash, Saylor Langager took fourth in the 200 Meter Dash, and Bri White took third in the 400 Meter Dash. Izzy Metz took second in the Long Jump, fourth in the Pole Vault, and fifth in the High Jump. The Girls 4x100 Meter Relay Team took second with team members Fallon Hawkins, Harper Bartz, Shaylee Grey and Scarlett Hanson, and the 4x200 Meter Relay Team took third with team members Shaylee Grey, Harper Bartz, Autim Hanson and Bri White.
