Funeral Mass for Bernice Johnson, 87, of Sisseton, SD, was held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD, with Fr. Kenneth Lulf Celebrant.

There was an all-night Wake Service on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at. St. Kateri Hall, Sisseton, SD.

Interment was in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton. SD.

Dorothy Rose Neuberger, 85, of Eden, SD, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD.  

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eden. Visitation was 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at the church, closing with a scriptural wake service at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Wayne L. Kelly, 83, of Sisseton, SD, was held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD, with Fr. Ken Lulf Celebrant.

There was visitation at the Cahill Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

Interment was in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD, with Military rites by Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post #50 and Fort Sisseton VFW.

Deborah Jane (Skog) Riveland, 72, of Breckenridge, MN, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge, MN, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service, at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wahpeton, ND.

Myron G. Steiner

The Mass of Christian Burial for Myron G. Steiner was at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eden, SD. Father Ken Lulf celebrated the mass.

Visitation was 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at the church, concluding with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service.

Myron passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD, at the age of 93 .

Spring interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery of Eden.

Arlis Christensen, 91, of Wilmot, SD, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Wilmot Care Center in Wilmot.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, SD.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Fredrick James Galbraith, age 78, passed away at Touchmark at All Saints in Sioux Falls, SD, on December 27, 2024.

A Celebration of Fred's Life and inurnment at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery will occur at a later date when family and friends will gather to commemorate his exceptional and remarkable life.

Paul passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 90 at the Ft. Meade Veterans Hospital in Sturgis, SD.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

A celebration of life was held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.

Visitation was held prior to the service starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
