Sisseton Boys Track Team takes 4th and Girls 5th at Webster Area Invitational

The Sisseton Redmen Track Teams traveled to Webster to compete in the Webster Area Invite on Thursday, May 21, with the Sisseton Boys Team taking fourth place and the Girls Team taking fifth place.

Setting the pace for the Sisseton Boys was Ryder Graff, who took first place in the 1600 Meter Run. Bremer DeSpiegler took third in the 400 Meter Dash, and Brett Hansen took third in the 800 Meter Run. Noah Estwick took third in the 3200 Meter Run and fourth in the 300 Meter Hurdles. LJ Crooks took third in the Pole Vault, and Justin Muehler took fourth in the Javelin. The SMR 1600 Meter Relay Team consisting of Dawson Desjarlait, LJ Crooks, Holden Hawkins and Ryder Graff took second place.

Leading the way for the Redmen Girls was Nikki Hoeger with a third place finish in the Discus and fifth in the Shot Put. Bri White and Izzy Metz tied for second in the Pole Vault. The 4x800 Meter Relay Team took third with members Ivory LaBatte, Izabell Ceroll, Faline Chanku and Aubrey Guy. The SMR 1600 Meter Relay Team also took third with members Shaylee Grey, Cinder Hoffman, Braxtyn Huff and Aubrey Guy. The 4x400 Relay Team took fourth. Team members were Braxtyn Huff, Clara Iverson, Scarlett Hanson and Bri White.
