The Sisseton High School Class of 1956 will hold a Class Reunion on Saturday, July 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Jard Apartments in Sisseton.

All classmates and friends of the class are welcome to attend.

Sisseton Food Pantry Open July 16 and 30

The Sisseton Ministerial Food Pantry will be open from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:

• Thursday, July 16, hosted by Christian Outreach Center

• Thursday, July 30, hosted by New Hope Free Lutheran Church.

The Food Pantry is planning to relocate soon, so watch for updates as to location.

Peever to celebrate its 125th August 7-8

The town of Peever will celebrate its 125th year on August 7-8, 2026. The town was founded by Tom Peever in 1901. Peever is truly “One of a Kind” – there is no other town by that name!

Events begin on Friday, Aug. 7, with digging up the Time Capsule at 4:30 p.m., Peever Alumni dinner at 6:00 p.m., and an outdoor movie at dusk. There will be a wide variety of events taking place on Saturday, Aug. 8. New School Board Members Sworn In

The four newly elected Sisseton School Board members were sworn in on Thursday, June 18, at the Special School Board Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Sisseton High School. Sworn in were (left to right) Lenny Wegener (three year term), Aaron Rolstad (three year term), Ryan Hellwig (one year term), with Matt Peterson (three year term).
