Measles cases confirmed in northeast South Dakota
The measles outbreak in the United States has reached Northeast South Dakota. Milbank School District recently released information via social media regarding potential measles exposure at Milbank Elementary School.
On Jan. 27, the Milbank School District posted on its Facebook account a letter sent to parents/guardians from the South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH) stating that a student with a confirmed measles infection was present at the school while infectious on Jan. 15.
