Sisseton Cross Country Team competes at Region 1A

The Sisseton Redmen Cross Country Team competed in the Region 1A meet on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Webster.

Sisseton’s Ryder Graff qualified for the State A Cross Country Meet with his twelfth place finish in the Region. Graff ran the 5K race in 19:06.97.

Keondray White missed qualifying for the State A meet by one spot, taking 21st place in a time of 19:36.17. The top 20 placers in the Region qualify for the State meet.

Payton Brown of Milbank was the medalist, running the race in 16:36.04.

The State A Cross Country Meet will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.
