On Monday, June 5, around 1:15 in the afternoon, a rain storm built up right over
Sisseton and dumped 2.1 inches of rain in about an hour and a half. Pictured above
is the creek behind Stillson’s surging with the water at the top of the bridge, and
pictured below is a storm drain on Oak Street with water rushing into the drain.
Other places in the area received very little or no rain, while some received over 2”
