Watertown’s Ukrainian Refugee Effort: Sponsor Training and Education Event on Jan. 3

Watertown’s Ukrainian response group is seeking people who are willing to sponsor Ukrainian families. You are invited to learn how you can be a sponsor, or how you can help sponsors welcome refugees to Watertown. Winter is setting in hard in Ukraine, and Russia is targeting the electricity, water, and other infrastructure systems. With 7 million refugees already in Poland, Germany, and other European countries, Ukrainians are running out of places to turn for assistance. In short, people are dying.
