RG Ventures making plans to open cannabis dispensary in Sisseton

In a special meeting on Jan. 31, the Sisseton City Council approved the application by RG Ventures, LLC to operate a medical marijuana dispensary within the city limits. If the state approves the license, and it likely will, the Great Plains Cannabis Co. could open to customers in the fall.

Co-owners Scott and Jeremy Goulet, uncle and nephew, appeared before the council at the meeting to explain their intentions and to answer questions before the vote, which was unanimous.
