School Board Election Results

Unofficial results are in from the Sisseton School Board Election held Tuesday, June 15.

Winning the three seats on the School Board for three year terms were Woody Hawkins, William Rice and Jake Schaunaman. The top Vote-getter was William Rice with 387 votes, followed by Jake Schaunaman with 312 and Woody Hawkins with 304.

Unsuccessful candidates were Megan Nigg Hilpert with 198 votes, and Barbara Joseph with 17.

Hawkins, Rice and Schaunaman will be sworn in at the Sisseton School Board regular meeting in July.
