Whetstone Valley Choral Festival held in Sisseton

Guest conductor Dr. Russell Svenningsen of Augustana University directed high school choral students from six schools at the annual Whetstone Valley Choral Festival held Tuesday, Mar. 22, 2022 at the Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton. Schools participating in this combined chorus were Britton-Hecla, Rosholt, Sisseton, Summit, Waubay and Wilmot. Buffy Kemnitz of Rosholt once again served as piano accompanist. High School directors on hand to assist included (bottom photo, left to right) Arjay DeLeon of Wilmot, Daniel Jimenez of Summit, Tera McDonnell of Sisseton, Guest Director Dr. Svenningsen, Buffy Kemnitz of Rosholt, Jill Beers of Waubay, and Holli Medhaug of Britton-Hecla.
