Pearson named to Golf Coaches Hall of Fame

The South Dakota High School Golf Coaches Association has announced the inductees for the Class of 2024 Hall of Fame. Plaques will be awarded at each respective girls state golf tournament on June 4 at approximately 4:30 in between the last player finishing and the players’ award ceremony.

Jim Pearson of Sisseton is one of the three inductees for 2023-2024. He coached Sisseton Boys Golf from 2005 to 2019 and Sisseton Girls Golf from 2003 to 2019. His coaching service includes being a founder of Sisseton recreational golf camps, and he was a member of the South Dakota High School Coaches Association from 2003 to 2019. He was a SDHSAA Rules Official in 2013 and 2019 and a SDHSAA Starter in 2005.
