Oct. 23 Big Band Concert

Contemporary jazz and swing music will fill the Sisseton Performing Arts Center on Oct. 23 when the Shaun Johnson Big Band Experience takes the stage. The newcomer to traditional pop fuses a big band spirit with an inventive edge. Johnson is described as “more modern than Sinatra, more risky than Buble.” The concert, sponsored by the Sisseton Arts Council, begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets (available at the door) will be $15.00 for adults; students (K-12) will be admitted FREE of charge. – Courtesy Photo
