Name released in accidental death after Traverse County Sheriff’s Office responds to Browns Valley disturbance

The name of a deceased individual has been released following a disturbance in Browns Valley on Apr. 5, 2022.

The Traverse County Sheriff’s Office initially released the following information regarding the disturbance:

On Apr. 5, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Traverse County Sheriff’s Office responded to a family disturbance in Browns Valley. An intoxicated male fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement. A short time later, the male was located and was deceased from his injuries.

This is an active investigation. The male was transported to the Ramsey Medical Center for an autopsy.
