Marshall County fatal crash

One male died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 12, in a one-vehicle crash onequarter mile east of Veblen. The name of the deceased has not been released. A 2006 Chevrolet HHR SUV was westbound on South Dakota Highway 25 when it went off the roadway and rolled several times. The 41-year-old male driver was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt. South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this point. The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
