Enemy Swim Day School Administration and Board of Directors announces Cultural Expansion Project
Enemy Swim Day School is pleased to announce a Cultural Expansion Construction Project to begin in Spring, 2025. This expansion will be approximately 16,000 square feet and will include four Dakota Language immersion classrooms, a Vocational room (music room), a Home Economics and a Practical Fine Arts room that when combined will be the Family Dakota Language Nest area. The Practical Fine Arts room is also a special cultural area for Dakota History and Culture. There will also be a large Indoor Recess/Cultural Activities area.
This project will provide language and cultural staff with the space and resources needed to expand Dakota Language and Cultural activities for the Enemy Swim Day School students and families. This project also allows ESDS to serve both current and future students in the Dakota Language revitalization efforts.
