Coteau des Prairies Hospital to withdraw from ownership of Tekakwitha Living Center

Tekakwitha Living Center (TLC) is pleased to share the following update which was recently communicated to TLC employees.

Coteau des Prairies Hospital (CDP) assumed the member owner role of TLC from the Benedictine Sisters on Jan. 1, 2016. In May of 2018, CDP entered into a management agreement for TLC with Caring Professionals Inc. who specialize in long-term care facility management. Effective Jan. 1, 2025, (CDP) will withdraw as member owner of TLC. Following the withdrawal of member ownership by CDP, TLC will remain a non-profit local long-term care provider with continued control by a local board of directors and with continued management by Caring Professionals, Inc.
