Claire City man sentenced for rear-ending combine while intoxicated

A Claire City man pled guilty to his sixth Driving Under the Influence offense after rear-ending a combine, according to court documents.
Jerry A. Anderson, 55, pled guilty in Roberts County. He was sentenced in October to ten years in prison with seven years suspended and must make $31,895 in restitution for damage to the combine.
Anderson must also pay a $385 fine and had his drivers license revoked for three years.
Sixth-offense DUI is a felony punishable by as much as ten years in prison
