By a unanimous vote, SWO Tribal Council adopted the following resolution, joining four other South Dakota tribes banning Governor Kristi Noem from their reservations:
WHEREAS, Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota has made statements and undertaken actions that have been injurious towards the parents of tribal children, thus detracting from the value of their education; and
