The Roberts County Commissioners have been discussing the continuing deterioration of the bridge and road infrastructure throughout the county and how to reverse the problem despite a budget shortfall. They have decided they have no other option than to take advantage of the state’s County Road and Bridge levy, which will add up to a 90-cent (.9) mill levy to property owners’ taxes.
One mill is equal to one dollar per $1,000 of assessed property tax value.
