Sisseton scores a victory over Britton/Hecla

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team got a victory over the Britton/Hecla Braves 3-0 (27-25, 25-15, 25-16) on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.

Sisseton was led by senior Chloe Langager’s 16 kills on 28-32 hitting, 12-12 serving with 2 aces, 1 block, and 5 digs. Emmalee Nielsen pounded out 12 kills on 30-31 hitting, 10-10 serving with 1 ace, and 1 block. Krista Langager added 4 kills on 11-12 hitting, 2 digs and 2 assists. Ruby Rice added 4 kills on 10-10 hitting, 15-15 serving with 1 ace, and 5 digs. Alexia Quinn went 20-22 serving with 1 ace, and had 6 digs and 12 assists. Alie Janisch went 6-6 serving and had 16 digs. Tara Nelson went 8-9 serving, and had 9 digs and 18 assists.

No Britton/Hecla stats were available at press time.

Sisseton will host Hamlin on Thursday, Oct. 5.
