Sisseton Volleyball team sneaks by Wilmot

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball team opened the season with a 3-2 victory (13-25, 26-24, 19-25, 25-19, 15-5) over the Wilmot Wolves on Tuesday, Aug. 27, in Wilmot.

Jade Cameron set the pace for the Wolves with 8 kills, 7-8 serving with 1 ace, 2 digs, and 3 blocks. Addison Heinje added 7 kills, went 12-13 serving, and had 6 digs and 4 blocks. Mya Heinje went 19-19 serving with 2 aces, and had 10 digs.

No stats were available for Sisseton at press time.

Sisseton will play host to Estelline on Tuesday, Sept. 3, and Groton Area on Thursday, Sept. 5.
