Sisseton hosts NEC Meet

AMERICAN LEGION MEMBERS AT LEGION RELAYS – The Legion Relays Track Meet was held on Apr. 25 at the Sisseton Athletic Complex. The Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post #3342 provides trophies for this annual event. The Sisseton High School Boys and Girls Track Teams hosted the NEC Meet at the Sisseton Athletic Complex on Thursday, May 9.

Setting the pace for the Sisseton Girls was Chloe Langager, who took first place in both Shot Put and Discus. Elliot Hortness took fourth place in the 100 Meter Hurdles.

For the Sisseton Boys, Ryder Graff earned a third place finish in the 3200 Meter Run, and Landyn Steichen placed third in the Shot Put and fifth in the Discus. The Boys 4x100 Meter Relay Team, comprised of Caden Gibson, Mario Alvarez, Landyn Steichen and Ethan DeSpiegler, also took third.
