Sisseton gymnasts take third place at Deuel Quad

The Sisseton Redmen Gymnastics Team traveled to Clear Lake to compete in the Deuel Invite on Tuesday, Jan. 16, bringing home third place.

Two Sisseton gymnasts placed in the top ten, with Izzy Metz taking fifth in the All- Around, and Olivia Deutsch taking sixth in the All-Around.

Sterling Mertens of Britton- Hecla was the top individual, scoring 34.400 in the All- Around. Her team also claimed top team honors, scoring 132.250 in the All-Around, followed by Deuel at 126.600, Sisseton with 117.700, and West Central with 44.350.
