Sisseton Gymnastics Team takes fifth at State A

The Sisseton Redmen Gym-nastics Team took fifth place at the State A Meet held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, in Mitchell.

The Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks were the State A Team Champions, with the PEHMV Royals taking second, Deuel Cardinals taking third, Madison Bulldogs fourth, Sisseton Redmen fifth, Chamberlain Cubs sixth, Britton/Hecla Braves seventh, and Milbank Bulldogs eighth.

Sisseton’s Izzy Metz received the Sara Nitz Award, was a member of the all tournament team, and placed fifth in the all around competition. Bri White tied for tenth place on vault.
