Sisseton Girls win over Lennox, remain undefeated

The top-ranked Class A Girls Basketball Team, the Sisseton Redmen, remained undefeated after a 60-49 win over the sixth-ranked Class A Lennox Orioles on Tuesday, Jan. 23. The match-up was rescheduled from the Hanson Classic on Saturday, Jan. 13. The game was played in Volga at Sioux Valley High School.

Sisseton fell behind 11-21 at the end of the first quarter, and closed the gap to 29-32 at half-time. Sisseton’s Emmalee Niel-sen had six quick points to get the Redmen started in the third quarter, and Sisseton took a 45-41 lead at the end of the quarter and hung on to win 60-49.
