Sisseton Girls score win over Tri-Valley at SoDak 16, advance to State A Tournament

The top seeded Class A Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team will move on to the State A Tournament with their 63-52 SoDak 16 victory over the Tri-Valley Mustangs at the Watertown Civic Arena on Thursday, Feb. 29.

Sisseton came out and took a 17-11 lead by the end of the first quarter and held the Mustangs to 5 points in the second quarter to jump out to a 33-16 lead at half-time. The Mustangs tried to make a comeback, but every time the Mustangs made a run, Sisseton had an answer. The Mustangs did outscore Sisseton by six points in the second half, but the Redmen came out on top.
