Sisseton girls go to 2-0 with win over Groton Area

The Sisseton Redmen girls basketball team moved their record to 2-0 with a 32-24 win over the Groton Tigers in their home opener on Monday, Dec. 5, at Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.

Sisseton jumped out to a 11-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and increased the lead to 19-5 at half-time. Groton made a comeback in the second half to cut the lead to 26-24 in the fourth quarter. Sisseton scored the final 6 points in the game to come out with a 32-24 victory.
