Sisseton gets volleyball season off to a good start

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team opened the season with a 3-0 win over the Wilmot Wolves on Tuesday, Aug. 23, in Wilmot. Sisseton won 25-18, 25-22 and 25-13 to bring home the victory.

Krista Langager went 28-32 hitting with 12 kills and had 4 blocks to pace the Redmen. Ruby Rice went 13-15 hitting with 3 kills and had 13 assists. Emmalee Nielsen went 13-13 serving with 2 aces and had 8 digs. Sadie Medenwald had 11 assists, Tara Nelson went 18-21 serving with 4 aces, and Annika Estwick had 15 digs.
