Sisseton falls to Sioux Valley

The Sisseton Redmen foot- ball team lost the home opener 7-42 on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 to the Sioux Valley Cossacks.

Sioux Valley opened up the scoring in the first quarter on a 36 yard run from Boden Schiller with point after good by Jameson Degen to make it 7-0. Donovan Rose scored two touchdowns on run of one yard and 68 yards with point after good by Degen to make the score 21-0. Schiller scored a second time on a 53 yard run with point after no good to close out the first quarter with Sioux Valley leading 27-0.
