Sisseton Boys Basketball Team holds on to get the victory over Waubay/Summit

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team held on to get the victory over the Waubay/Summit Mustangs 46-45 on Tuesday, Jan. 13, in Summit.

Summit took a 14-12 lead after the first quarter. Sisseton tied the game up at 23 at halftime. The Redmen took the lead 36-32 at the end of the third quarter and hung on to win 46-45.

Sisseton senior Carter Stickland hit for 25 points, making six 3-pointers, and had 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals. Brett Hansen added 9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals, and Derrick Flute chipped in with 8 points and 2 rebounds.
