Sisseton Girls fall short of a comeback against Groton Area

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team fell to the Groton Area Tigers 45-48 in a Northeast Conference matchup held on Tuesday, Dec. 17, in Groton.

Ssseton fell behind in the first half, trailing 18-28 at halftime, and fell behind 26-40 at the end of the third quarter. The Redmen tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring Groton 19-8 in the final period, but fell short of the comeback, losing to the Tigers 45-48.
