Redmen boys season comes to an end

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball team’s season came to an end at the Region 1A semi-finals with a 47-65 loss to the number one rated Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers on Thursday, March 5, at the Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.
Roncalli jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and led by a score of 21-14 at the end of the first quarter. Roncalli increased its lead in the second quarter, out-scoring the Redmen 16-5 to take a commanding lead of 37-19 at halftime and cruising to victory 65-47.
The Redmen were led by stand out center Dominic White’s 23 points and 6 rebounds. Ethan Kranhold chipped in with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Roncalli was led by Brayden McNeary’s 22 points and 5 rebounds. Zach Hammrich added 12 points, Sam Reynen chipped in with 10 points, and Landon Hoellein had 9 points and 9 rebounds.
